Nasa's Curiosity rover sends more photos from the surface of Mars - including a colour panoramic image of the Gale Crater landing site.
The collection of new photos included a panoramic image of the Gale Crater, a vast basin where the nuclear-powered, six-wheeled rover touched down Sunday after voyaging through space for more than eight months.
During a press conference in California, Nasa officials said the new images were crucial to understanding the Martian landscape.
